In addition to your membership card and subscription to the Mensa Bulletin — two of the first member benefits — we provide a number of programs that offer special discounts to Mensa members. Included in these are discounts on travel arrangements, magazine subscriptions, purchases through online retail sites, educational loans, group health insurance, and insurance through GEICO®.

Published in 1972, Games for the Superintelligent, written by Mensan James Fixx, was the first widely popular Mensa-related quiz book. To this day Mensa is known for the entertaining books written by its members or endorsed by the organization. At American Mensa's annual Mind Games® competition, new games are judged on originality, game play, play value, aesthetics and clarity of instructions. More than 50 games have won the right to carry the Mensa Select® seal. Past winners include TabooTM, SetTM, Cube CheckersTM, and Apples to ApplesTM. Fox Imaging carries a large selection of Mensa Select® games, or you can purchase them through Smart Buys.

To facilitate the process of taking the Mensa Admission Test, membership candidates can purchase a one-time-use testing voucher redeemable at an American Mensa testing session, proctored by one of our certified volunteers.
